What issues do you help with?
The Wellness Hour supports individuals who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin whether they’re navigating digestion issues, stress and anxiety, hormonal shifts, chronic fatigue, or the confusion that comes with conflicting health information.
We specialize in nervous system regulation, foundational nutrition, lifestyle rhythms, and helping you understand what your body needs before diving into more advanced protocols.
Are you a medical provider, and can you diagnose?
No. The Wellness Hour provides integrative health coaching, not medical diagnosis or treatment. We complement your medical care by helping you understand your body, interpret general patterns( non diagnostically), build foundational habits, and implement recommendations from your providers in a realistic, sustainable way.
What is your background?
I have a Bachelor’s in Social Work and almost ten years of experience working in clinical settings, including mental health, pain management, Eastern and Western medicine, imaging, and supporting patients through lab interpretation and care coordination. I’m also certified in integrative health coaching through IIN, advanced herbalism (physiology, pharmacology, and nutrition) through the Herbal Academy, and nervous system practitioner training through Primal Trust..
Can you work alongside my doctor or specialist?
Yes. I frequently collaborate with naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, therapists, and functional medicine providers. I help you prepare for appointments, clarify next steps, and integrate recommendations into daily life
Can you help me understand my lab results?
Yes, within scope.We offer educational support, which means we explain what your provider has already identified and help you understand how lifestyle, nutrition, and nervous system patterns may relate. All medical interpretation remains the responsibility of your healthcare team.
Do you take insurance?
No not as this time, as coaching is not covered by insurance.
How does coaching work?
All new clients begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation. If we’re a good fit, you’ll receive access to our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal for scheduling, messaging, and your personalized care plan.
